KNOW THE DIFFERENCE between Distilled and Crystallized MSM!!
The difference between PurforMSM™ and MSM:
MVP MSM® (Distilled) which uses the only pateneted MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane) on the market (R.J. Herschlers patent#4,616,039).
DISTILLED:
R.J. Herschler's MSM (Used by MVP) is Distilled which uses heat-not water to seperate the by-products and impurities of manufacturing through boiling point differentials. A more cost-intensive process, distillation ensures that the final product contains only pure MSM. Since distilled MSM is not a crystal, it contains no occlusions to trap impurities. Just as water is distilled for purity, so is distilled MSM.
CRYSTALLIZED:
Crystallized MSM is a lower cost process and increases risk of producing an impure product. Purity achieved by crystallization is highly dependant upon the quality of local water and other materials used in manufacturing. A crystal inherently contains occlusions where these water-based impurities can become entrapped. Imported product from China and India are of some concern since heavy metals and other impurities have been reported (ie. Lead, Arsenic and Mercury).
You may find MSM that is $2-3 cheaper per lb, but make sure you know where the MSM is coming from and how it is processed!!!
